About Monmouth RC
Monmouth Rowing Club is located close to the centre of Monmouth beside the River Wye. The club benefits from a minimum of 2,500 metres of excellent water (no motor pleasure craft) in the Summer, which extends up to 6.5 miles with the higher water levels of the Winter season.
River Navigation Rules
River navigation in Monmouth is a little unusual as we are not on an easily continuously navigable stretch of river. Please take a few minutes to read the NAVIGATION RULES for the Monmouth stretch of the River Wye.
For those rowers using Monmouth Rowing (members and visitors), please also read the standard risk assessment. Please note that this is a generic document and as such may not take account of some weather conditions and participants, although we have tried to make it as complete as possible.
How to find Monmouth Rowing Club
Here is a link to the Multimap website showing the location of Monmouth Rowing Club. The map is not perfect (a hundred yards or so away), but it will get you to the Driving Standards Test Centre. Turn right here and go through the tunnel under the A40 and there we are.
