Membership

We have a range of membership types, as shown lower down this page. For general queries about membership please contact the Membership Secretary.

The joining process is as follows:
  1. You will need to SIGN UP to this website using the "log in" link top right of the home age, then select "sign up".
  2. Complete the application form on this website.
  3. Once you have completed the membership form, you need to click the mandate setup link (which is also on screen after the membership form is submitted) for payment of fees by direct debit from our payment provider GoCardless.  This is to be completed before any exercise takes place.
  4. No payment is taken until you have been able to complete TWO trial sessions (land or water).  You may not do any further sessions until you have confirmed with the Membership Secretary your wish to be a full member, at which point the first payment will be requested using the bank mandate you have completed (see point 6 below).
  5. Trial sessions do not apply for "Learn to Row" as an introductory course is six sessions long, so the first monthly payment is taken shortly before the start of the LTR course.
  6. Please note that all monthly subscriptions are paid on the 2nd of the month, so your first payment will likely be a pro rata amount until the next payment date.  You will receive an email with details of any subscription payments to be taken 2/3 days before the debit.
  7. When your application and payment mandate are in place, with the first payment requested, you will then be given access to the Club and Bookings pages as well as our email groups.
If you are new to rowing, please first apply to join a Learn to Row Course, which are available in groups or individually.
