All boat hires must be approved by the MRC Events Secetary prior to ordering.
 
When you hire you accept and agree the following Terms and Conditions:
 
Safety First: You must follow all water safety rules, including those set by MRC. You confirm you are competent and capable of handling the hired boat.
Insurance is Your Responsibility:
You must have your own adequate insurance in place to cover the entire period of the loan/hire.
This insurance must specifically cover your use of the boat in competitions and inculde 3rd Party Liability.
Damage Responsibility:
You are fully responsible for the boat from the moment you take possession until it is returned and checked in by an MRC representative.
Any and all damage to the boat, its equipment, or other club property that occurs during your hire period, regardless of the cause (excluding fair wear and tear), will be your financial responsibility.
You agree to cover the full cost of repairs or replacement as determined by MRC.
Reporting: You must report any incident, damage, or loss to an MRC committee member or designated contact when you return the hire.
Duration: The duration of the hire is only for one Division of the event.
Return: The boat must be returned to the agreed location, clean, and at the agreed time. 
Termination: MRC reserves the right to refuse hire or terminate the hire period at any time if we believe safety or club rules are being breached.
