Last weekend brought significant flooding to Monmouth, and while the town bore the worst of the devastation, Monmouth Rowing Club largely got off lightly, with only the gym area being affected as most of the flood water came from the River Monnow, rather than the Wye.

We owe a profound thank you to all the members who showed up to help this morning. Your dedication and hard work are really appreciated and allowed us to restore the club safely and swiftly.

As we get back on the water, our thoughts remain with the wider community—the residents and businesses in Monmouth still facing the immense and stressful challenge of recovering from the flood damage. We stand in solidarity with everyone navigating the long process of getting life back to normal.
