Afer a gap of 14 years Monmouth Rowing Club returned to Henley Royal Regatta in 2023 with a crew in the Wyfolds for Men's Club Coxless fours.
The crew of Evan Whitall-Williams (S), Tom Cookman, Oli Partridge and Mark Woods had a fantastic race against an on form crew from Upper Thames. Despite a strong start, the Upper Thames crew (who were last year's finalists and are shown below in a post race embrace) won and go onto meet Curlew in the next round.
Everyone at Monmouth RC are so proud of the crew and all the hard work put in by the senior squad and our great coach Tim Male. Thanks also once again to Ben Rodford for the great picture.
However Monmouth fans won't have to wait long for a return to the famous Henley stretch with the Men and Women's Masters squards competing at Henley Masters in 10 days time. Thankfully only over 1000m.
