Ever wondered what Monmouth Regatta looked like over sixty year ago. We have found this great clip in the BBC archives which gives you a taste of times past.
What strikes me, apart from all the wooden boats and oars is how similar it looks, just with a few more boaters.
For the blazer spotters out there, I reckon the boys in the picture above are from Belmont Abbey School, a very good rowing school outside Hereford.
