Club to Shut During Lockdown

Updated: Nov 8, 2020

As you may be aware Mark Drakeford, FM, has announced that from 6pm Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November there will be a lockdown/firebreak in Wales. As a Committee we have agreed this means the Club has to shut to all rowing/exercise activities. Work, such as boat repairs etc, can continue. So as of 6pm on Friday no one will be allowed to access the Club to get boats/blades or gym/ergs. This applies to all members, whether resident in Wales or not. We have agreed to make ergs available (please do not take any weights or the static bikes) to members, with a couple of caveats - we need to know which machine you have borrowed (they have a code attached such as D1, E1 etc), and you must return the erg on the day the lockdown is lifted - the ergs will be required at the Club. Please let me know if you would like to borrow an erg. Stay safe. Colin
